Hull-Daisetta I.S.D. offers career and technology education programs in Business Education, Agricultural Science, Building & Trades, and Family and Consumer Sciences.  Admission to these programs is based on enrollment in Hull-Daisetta High School.

How to Access STAAR Scores

Steps to Access Your Child’s STAAR Scores:

  1. Go to Texas Assessment website
  2. You will see a screen like this:

  1. Select the “Log in to Student Portal”
  2. You will see a screen like this:

  1. If you have your access code, enter the code and your child’s birthdate to view scores.
  2. If you do NOT have your access code, click on “Lookup Access Code” (see circled below)

  1. You will then see a screen like this:

  1. Enter your child’s first name only and his or her social security number in the PEIMS ID field, and birthdate.
  2. Your code will appear, re-enter the birthdate information, and then hit “go”. Be sure to write down your code for future use. The code is good for as long as your child is in a public school in Texas.

Senate Bill 1697 of the 87th Texas Legislature

During the 87th Texas legislative session, Senate Bill 1697 established new Texas Education Code (TEC), section code 28.02124, Parental Option for Student Retention, which allows parents or guardians to opt to have their child:

 

  • repeat prekindergarten;
  • enroll in prekindergarten if the child was eligible to enroll in prekindergarten in the previous school year, under TEC, section code 29.153 (b), and has not yet enrolled in kindergarten;
  • repeat kindergarten;
  • enroll in kindergarten if the child would have enrolled in kindergarten in the previous school year and has not yet enrolled in first grade;
  • for grades one through three, repeat the grade the student was enrolled in the previous school year;
  • for grades four through eight, repeat the grade the student was enrolled in during the 2020 - 2021 school year; and
  • for courses taken for high school credit, repeat any course in which the student was enrolled during the 2020 - 2021 school year.
