Mrs. Ritter

Welcome to Hull-Daisetta High School and the Business/Career and Technical Education Department! My name is Rhonda Ritter and I have 30 years of experience in education, serving in numerous capacities as a Career and Technical Education instructor, Instructional Technology Specialist and Business Professionals of America advisor. I hold a Bachelor's of Business Administration, a Master's of Education in Educational Technology and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Learning Technologies. Currently, I also teach as an adjunct professor for the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Students in my classroom use a Learning Management System, Schoology, throughout the school year. This helps the students to stay organized, have immediate and constant access to assignments and resources and gives the students an introduction into taking online courses in a college type setting. All courses are designed to prepare students to meet the challenges of the technology-driven workforce.

Each student will need to complete the Student-Parent Information form by Friday, August 21, 2020. This will be sent via email to all students and located in Schoology. My virtual office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

I also serve as the local advisor for Business Professionals of America. This student organization is a member of the Texas association, www.texasbpa.com and the national association, www.bpa.org. Students in this organization compete at the regional, state and national levels. For more information on our local BPA organization, please click
